Francis “Fazo” Azofeifa is the Human Resources (HR) general manager for Chevron Chemicals, a position he has held since April 2024. 

With nearly 30 years of HR professional experience, Fazo has supported a wide range of functions and organizations during his career. He joined Chevron in 2006 and has held positions of increasing responsibility across Oil, Products and Gas in the United States, Thailand and Argentina. His Downstream and Midstream experience includes assignments in Americas Products, Manufacturing, Oronite and the Shipping Company. In the Upstream, he served as Senior HR Business Partner in Upstream Capability and as Senior HR Advisor for the Asia South Business Unit. He most recently served as the HR Manager for the Latin America Business Unit.

Fazo received his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Psychology and a Business Administration minor, both from California State University, East Bay.
