chevron oronite to present on re-refined base oils (RRBO) at China Lubrication Technology Forum and Korea Lubricants Symposium

SAN RAMON, Calif., October 16, 2024 - As interest grows in circular economy solutions, the adoption of RRBO is gaining momentum as it allows industries to reuse resources and minimize disposal of waste oil. To address this increased interest, Chevron Oronite did a study to understand the usage of RRBO in automotive engine oils and the lubricant additive solutions for heavy-duty and passenger car motor oils.

 

At two upcoming events, Chevron Oronite will showcase our RRBO expertise by discussing trends, the findings of our recent study and solutions with a presentation titled “RRBO Usage in Automotive Additive and Lubricant Formulations.”

 

Rajagopalan Padmanabhan, regional product line manager, Asia Pacific - AEO/VM/SE, Chevron Oronite, will deliver this presentation at the 38th China Lubrication Technology Forum on Wednesday, October 23 at 3 p.m. Chevron Oronite is sponsoring this event, which will be held at the Shangri-La Nanning in Shanghai, China, from October 23 - 24, 2024.

 

Similarly, Barbara Liu, China customer technical support specialist, Chevron Oronite will deliver this presentation at the Korea Lubricants Symposium 2024 on Thursday, October 24 at 2:10 p.m. The Korea Lubricants Symposium will take place from October 24 - 25, 2024 at Sono Moon Danyang Resort in Danyang, South Korea.
