Amir Maria is the senior manager of Strategy and Business Performance for Chevron Oronite, a position he has held since January 2024. 

Amir began his career with Chevron in 2012. He joined the company as a research engineer supporting the fuels products business. He has since held numerous positions of increasing responsibility spanning both fuels and lubricants. His roles have included long-term strategic research and development, technology program management, and global product line management. He most recently served as the manager of Industrial, Driveline, and Fuels Global Product Line for Chevron Chemicals.

Amir received his Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Toronto. He received his master’s degree and Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
