Kelby Thornton is the digital manager for Chevron Oronite, a position she has held since January 2024. 

Kelby began her career with Chevron in 2001. She joined the company as an information technology (IT) professional delivering support for Chevron’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. She has since held numerous positions of increasing responsibility within the IT function. Kelby has extensive experience providing digital solutions and leadership, primarily within upstream business units located in Perth, Australia; Houston, Texas; and Bakersfield, California. She most recently served as the technical manager for Chevron’s Finance, Strategy, and Performance Digital Platform.   

Kelby received her Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from California State University, Chico.
