Marissa is the general manager, Value Chain Optimization (VCO), based in Houston, Texas. Appointed into the role in June 2022, she oversees strategy and planning, portfolio optimization, cross-functional value chain projects, and supply planning for the Chemicals business. This role marks Marissa’s first assignment in the Chemicals business unit.

In her most recent role before joining the VCO team, Marissa was the senior manager, Logistics in Integrated Supply Chain (AF&L/IF&L), based in San Ramon, CA. She was responsible for Fuels, Lubricants, and Base Oils logistics and transportation requirements across Road, Rail and Marine vessels.

Marissa joined Chevron in Coral Gables, FL in 2008. Since then, she has held roles of increasing responsibility in both the U.S. and several International Markets across Fuels & Lubricants.

Marissa earned a bachelor’s degree in business from Universidad Catolica de  Honduras and an MBA from Texas A&M University.
